The Greene County Residential Care Center is a 72 bed licensed Skilled Nursing Facility. Our objective is to provide 24 hour skilled nursing services to individuals who are either no longer able to thrive at home, or need impatient rehabilitation services to enhance functional performance and safety skills to allow them to return home and prosper in their home environment.

There are many services provided to our nursing home residents including:

  •  Wound care management
  • Dietary/Nutritional management
  • Social Services/referrals to community resources
  • Daily Activity services offered
  • Hospice services offered as needed
  • Psychiatric services offered
  • Volunteer services
  • Restorative Care services daily

Dementia Unit

This area of the facility was recently remodeled to be host for the 20 bed unit located within the nursing home. The dementia unit is designed to cater to individuals with dementia who often require more dedicated attention and care. The dementia unit has its own dining area, activity room, and a beautiful courtyard for outdoor sitting and activities as weather permits. We are thrilled to be able to offer this much needed service to Eutaw and surrounding communities.

In addition, the Residential Care Center offers rehabilitation services for long term and short stay residents. These services include physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy; provided by qualified, licensed therapist and therapy assistants. The goal of rehabilitation services is to assist an individual in functioning daily at their highest level possible. Our Rehabilitation Department offers a variety of services to aid our residents in performing daily tasks at their highest level possible. Our Rehabilitation Department offers a variety of services to aid our residents in performing daily tasks is at their optimal ability. These services include, but are not limited to:

  • Modalities (E-stim, Ultrasound, Paraffin, etc.)
  • FEES (Swallowing Evaluation) and Audiology services (Hearing Evaluation)
  • Vital stimulation for improvement of swallowing abilities
  • ADL training (Activities of Daily Living)
  • Home assessments as needed
  • Wound Care
